WARRANTY TERMS
1) Warranty & Mandatory maintenance service
For any warranty claim, please fill out the form available at the bottom of the page after reviewing the information below.
NOVA RIDE guarantees all its products against any proven manufacturing defects, in accordance with applicable legal provisions.
We have chosen to extend the legal warranty to 4 years from the date of purchase for the following products:
- Oversized derailleur cages.
- Aluminum pulleys (CCD and derailleur pulleys sold in pairs).
- Aluminum bottom bracket cups.
- Front derailleur chain keeper for single chainrings, Braze-On mount.
- Rear derailleur hangers, for UDH frames.
- Computer mounts.
The warranty is not transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the product. It takes effect on the purchase date shown on the proof of purchase.
The user is solely responsible for the regular inspection and control of the product to determine the need for maintenance or replacement.

1) Legal Guarantee of Conformity (Manufacturing Defect)
Nova Ride guarantees its derailleur hangers only against proven manufacturing defects, in accordance with applicable legal provisions.
This guarantee covers exclusively:
- a structural defect of the carbon cage or the aluminium pulleys.
- non-conformity of the new product.
This guarantee does not cover:
- Normal wear of derailleur pulleys.
- Normal wear of ceramic bearings.
- Accelerated wear related to usage conditions.
- Damage resulting from impact or a fall.
- Corrosion due to water, mud or high-pressure cleaning.
- Improper assembly or disassembly.
- Parts modified or altered by the user.
2) Mandatory Maintenance
The lifespan of a ceramic bearing depends heavily on:
- usage conditions (weather, terrain type, frequency).
- washing/maintenance.
Nova Ride recommends:
- gentle cleaning after wet rides.
- complete drying before storage.
- cleaning the inside of the pulleys with degreaser if they lose fluidity. Caution: bearings should not be disassembled and seals should not be removed, as this will damage the bearing.
- dry, all-ceramic bearings should not be greased.
- regularly check the play, fluidity, and tightness of the screws.
- periodically re-grease the cage axle in the derailleur.
Lack of maintenance can lead to noise, play, or premature wear. These situations are not covered by the guarantee.

- Accelerated wear related to usage conditions.
- Damage resulting from lack of maintenance.
- Corrosion due to water, mud or high-pressure cleaning.
- Improper assembly or disassembly.
- Parts modified or altered by the user.
2) Mandatory Maintenance
Nova Ride reminds us that the main cause of bearing failure is internal corrosion, directly linked to insufficient maintenance.
Bearings are wear parts, and their lifespan depends heavily on:
- usage conditions (weather, terrain type, frequency).
- washing methods.
- assembly and tightening torque.
- periodic re-greasing.
Nova Ride recommends:
- Smooth cleaning after wet rides.
- Complete drying before storage.
- No high-pressure washing.
- Regularly check for play and smoothness.
Lack of maintenance can lead to noise, play, or premature wear. These situations are not covered by the guarantee.
1) Legal Guarantee of Conformity (Manufacturing Defect)
Nova Ride guarantees its derailleur hangers only against proven manufacturing defects, in accordance with applicable legal provisions.
This guarantee covers exclusively:
- Manufacturing defect (poorly machined part, abnormal crack, defective screw, faulty material).
This guarantee does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear of the derailleur guard due to chain friction.
- Damage resulting from impact or a fall.
- Corrosion due to water, mud, or improper high-pressure cleaning.
- Improper assembly or disassembly.
- Alteration of the product (replaced screws, DIY repairs).
- Aesthetics (scratches, superficial marks).
2) Mandatory Maintenance
Nova Ride recommends:
- Regular checks of the play and tightness of the screws.
- Regular checks of the spacing with the chain, using the spacing gauge sold with the product.
Lack of maintenance can lead to noise, play, or premature wear. These situations are not covered by the guarantee.
1) Legal Guarantee of Conformity (Manufacturing Defect)
Nova Ride guarantees its derailleur hangers only against proven manufacturing defects, in accordance with applicable legal provisions.
This guarantee covers exclusively:
- Manufacturing defect (poorly machined part, abnormal crack, defective screw, faulty material).
This guarantee does not cover:
- Damage resulting from an impact or fall: The dropout is designed as a breakable element (it is intended to deform or break upon impact in order to protect the frame and derailleur). This type of damage therefore does not constitute a manufacturing defect and is not covered by the warranty.
- Improper assembly or disassembly (incompatibility between derailleur hanger, derailleur, and frame).
- Wear and tear, chain breakage.
- Modified or altered products.
- Misalignment of a bent derailleur hanger due to impact.
- Derailment resulting in breakage.
- Damage to other components (chain, derailleur, wheel, etc.) due to breakage or bending of the derailleur hanger.
- Aesthetics (scratches, superficial marks).
- Alteration of the product (replaced screws, DIY repairs).
2) Mandatory Maintenance
Nova Ride recommends:
- Regular check of the play and tightness of the screws: every 500 km.
- Regular check of the correct adjustment of the derailleur: at assembly then every 500 km.
- Correct adjustment of the derailleur stops: at assembly.
Lack of maintenance can lead to noise, play, or premature wear. These situations are not covered by the guarantee.
1) Legal Guarantee of Conformity (Manufacturing Defect)
Nova Ride guarantees its derailleur hangers only against proven manufacturing defects, in accordance with applicable legal provisions.
This guarantee covers exclusively:
- Manufacturing defects (poorly machined parts, abnormal cracks, defective screws and faulty materials).
This guarantee does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear of the plastic insert of the computer mount.
- Damage resulting from an impact or fall.
- Corrosion due to water, mud, or high-pressure cleaning.
- Improper assembly or disassembly.
- Damage to the computer in the event of product failure.
2) Mandatory Maintenance
Nova Ride recommends:
- Always using the safety strap with the computer.
- Gentle cleaning after wet rides.
- Regularly checking the play and tightness of the screws.
Lack of maintenance can lead to noise, play, or premature wear. These situations are not covered by the guarantee.
3) After-sales service procedure
All warranty claims are evaluated individually after inspection by Nova Ride. The warranty program applies worldwide, without distinction between countries.
For any after-sales service request, the following must be provided:
- Physical return of the product for inspection, at the customer's expense.
- The original proof of purchase.
If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, Nova Ride will, at its discretion:
- repair the product, or
- replace it free of charge.
Return shipping to the user is covered by Nova Ride. The package will be automatically sent to the address indicated on the order form. In case of a change of address, please inform us as soon as you begin contacting our service department.

Crash Remplacement
We understand that accidents happen. That's why we offer a Crash Replacement Program. If your Nova Ride component is damaged in a fall or incident, we offer the option to replace it at a preferential rate. This program is separate from our standard warranty, which covers manufacturing defects.
You are fully covered if you experience a fault with a Nova Ride product. This could be a fault caused by an accident or while traveling with your bike.
Nova Ride Product Replacement Program gives you an discount on a new product, provided you can send proof of purchase, an explanation, and images or video of your broken product.
Please fill out the form at the bottom of this page. And fill out the following claim reason: Crash Replacement.
Be sure to attach both proof of purchase or your order number as well as a photo or video of your product, as well as a description of how and why you are experiencing a problem with the product. All warranty cases will be determined only after review.
Each case will be reviewed individually by a member of the Nova Ride team. This warranty program applies worldwide and does not differ from country to country.
